Titos, the Rock of Athens (died c. 420s BCE) was an Athenian officer who lived during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography

A soldier who made his way to the Pephka Arena and became one of the gladiators there. His abilities led him to gain a place at the monument dedicated to the top five fighters of the Arena, as well as to be noticed by Kodros, a member of the Delian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos. Hoping to recruit Titos, Kodros sent him a job offer, inviting him to Lesbos.[1]

However, before Titos could answer the invitation, he faced the Spartan misthios Kassandra in the Arena, and fell to her blades.[1]
