Theos the Stargazer (died c. 429 BCE) was a Greek mercenary active near Mount Athos in Makedonia during the height of the Peloponnesian War.
Around 429 BCE, Theos was one of the mercenaries hired by the Order of Hunters to hunt down the misthios Kassandra, who was also a Tainted One. The influx of mercenaries troubled Ide, an elderly woman living in Amphipolis, and when she crossed paths with Kassandra, Ide asked her to get rid of the mercenaries.[1] Kassandra did so, finding Theos watching the sea north of Mount Athos, and killing him.[2]
