- ―The Mytilenian Shark[src]
The Mytilenian Shark (died c. 420s BCE) was a member of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography
Sometime prior to the Peloponnesian War, the Mytilenian Shark was captain of a ship named the Shark's Head. After it sunk near the sunken Palace of Amphitrite, the Mytilenian Shark became the captain of a new ship, The Eurybia.
However, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the Shark's Head's wreckage, and within them she found a note revealing her former captain, as well as the crest of the Southern Sporades. These led her to find the Mytilenian Shark sailing south of Samos on the Eurybia. Battle followed, during which the Adrestia, commanded by Kassandra and captained by Barnabas, sank the Eurybia, and the Mytilenian Shark was slain.[1]
