Biography
While camped at Fyrisvellir, Skarpe, believing the tale of Hrólfr Kraki scattering gold across the field as a distraction, searched the marshy lands for forgotten pieces of the precious metal that king Eadgils may have missed. When he approached the other warriors, mud covering his legs from his boots to his thighs and the rest of his clothes wet through, he was laughed at by many, including Alferth, who he threatened before Östen reminded them that there would be no in-fighting until Eric the Victorious dismissed them.[1]
