Serios was the Spartan husband of Xanthe and the father of Theoros and Makarios, who lived in Pitana, Lakonia during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War Serios went off to war with his countrymen, while Xanthe remained behind as the magistrate of Pitana.[1]
