The Sacred Lands of Apollo was the name of the central sub-region of the Greek polis Phokis.

History[edit | edit source]

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored a camp in the southern area of the region in order to find and recruit an individual whom her associate Barnabas the best archer in all of Greece.[1] Some time later, Kassandra also encountered the legendary beast Kalydonian Boar and killed it for its pelt.[2]
