Photios was a Kephallonian mercenary and a friend of the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, who lived during the 5th century BCE.

In 431 BCE, Photios was reunited with Kassandra in the Sanctuary of Delphi, Phokis, enlisting her help to deal with a group of priests who had stolen various artifacts.^[1]
