Photios was a Kephallonian mercenary and a friend of the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, who lived during the 5th century BCE.
In 431 BCE, Photios was reunited with Kassandra in Delphi, Phokis, enlisting her help to deal with a group of priests who had stolen various artifacts.[1]
