An injured Parh

Parh was an Egyptian traveler and tomb raider who lived during the 1st century BCE.

Biography

Around 34 BCE, Parh travelled to the Desheret Desert in Upper Egypt in pursuit of the Lost Army of Cambyses legend. As he explored the ancient structure buried under the desert in search of treasures, Parh took out a small artifact from one of the pedestals, which reanimated the dead mummies in the area. As Parh attempted to flee with the stone on his camel, he was attacked by the reanimated soldiers, causing him to suffer a leg injury and his camel to run away.[1]

Sometime later, Parh was found by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa and told him the direction his camel had run in so the Hidden One could find it, recover the artifact, and bring it back to the vault to end the "curse". Bayek did so successfully, though by the time he returned to the vault, he found no sign of Parh.[1]
