The Orphis Lair was a cave in the Mourning Fields, within the simulation of Tartaros.

Visually, it looked very much the same as the Sanctuary of Kosmos in Phokis, with even corpses of the killed members of the Cult of Kosmos laying about. Even the Pyramid stood in the middle of the room. Epiktetos, a member of the Fallen made the cave his home, awaiting revenge on Deimos.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra explored the area and claimed some valuables.[1]

Trivia

  • Orphis is a corruptions of the Greek ὄφῐς (ophis) meaning serpent.
