The Narodnaya Volya (English: People's Will) were an organised group of revolutionary individuals based in Tsarist Russia, and a faction of the Russian Brotherhood of the Assassins.
Seen by contemporaries as a terrorist organization, they were responsible for a number of acts of sabotage and murder; their most well known being the assassination of Tsar Alexander II of Russia[1] with a bomb by Ignacy Hryniewiecki[2], after five separate attempts on his life.[1]
Notable members of the organization included Andrei Orelov and his son Nikolai, as well as Aleksandr Ulyanov.[1]
