Extra Information[edit source]

Ok, so after making the edit of listing various members of the Narodnaya Volya, I couldn't help but notice it was all taken down. If anything, may I ask why? It was correct historical information about the organization and I do not understand what the reason for removing it was. if this could just be cleared up so I don't end up reediting it only to find that info deleted again. Just because that information related to the organisation in the real-world, doesn't necessarily mean it relates to the organisation in the AC canon. We won't assume it does, either. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 14:03, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

Something has been kind of bugging about the whole bit about Alexander II being assassinated by Orelov. Would he even be old enough at the time for that to even occur? He mentions Aleksandr as being young when he died, which he was. But that also implies he was around the same age at the time. Plus by the time he's after Alexander III, he's not old. I just don't think he would have been old enough to have killed that czar. This is just something I was thinking of, I would be wrong, because I don't really know Nikolai's age. No, 'cause that's just made up. Alexander II wasn't assassinated by Orelov. By different Assassins. -- Master Sima Yi 06:50, December 16, 2010 (UTC)

Now that the Wiki's taken to creating individual articles for the region-specific Assassin sects, does anyone else think that this article should be merged with Russian Assassins? Bella'Mia 08:51, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

No. The Narodnaya Volya are a distinct organisation in their own right. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 16:32, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
Said without an ounce of sarcasm, I'd be interested to hear your reasoning. When reading The Fall, it was my understanding that "Narodnaya Volya" was simply the local Russian name for the Assassins, just as "Hashashin" was in the Arabic regions they occupied. Though relatively new, the Syrian Assassins article sets something of a precedent that I, personally, thought could be best continued with the merging of Narodnaya Volya and Russian Assassins, since at the very least the former is a subdivison of the latter. If I may chip in? It actually never says such a thing in the comic. It could just as easily be that some Assassins, such as Orelov, were also members of the Narodnaya Volya. Guardian Assassin 04:48, February 22, 2012 (UTC)
Like Jasca pointed out, the Narodnaya Volya are a distinct organisation in their own right. -- KaloneousHelpDesk 09:35, February 22, 2012 (UTC)
