Metiochos was an Athenian politician and a loyal friend of Perikles who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Biography

When Kassandra reached Metiochos' home, she found him tied up and threatened by poisonous snakes. She slew the reptiles, and released Metiochos, saving his life.[1]
