Markos was a Greek man living on the island of Kephallonia during the 5th century BCE.

He had made the acquaintance of Phoibe and the Spartan misthios Kassandra at some point before the Peloponnesian War. Adopting her in some manner and getting her into a whole lot of trouble in his schemes to get rich quick.^[1]
