Mareia Port was a small port village situated by the Nile Delta, in the Sap-Meh Nome.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the port, where he met Europa, the widow of a chariot-maker Eryx, who was killed by soldiers from the nearby Anthylla Outpost, after they offered to pay half of the agreed payment which Eryx refused. Bayek infiltrated the outpost and destroyed the chariot, thus restoring Eryx's name and honor.[1]
