Ligeia (died c. 422 BCE) was a member of the Daughters of Artemis who lived in Lesbos during the Peloponnesian War. She disappeared in mysterious circumstances shortly before her death.

After her disappearance her lover Bryce sought to uncover her whereabouts with the help of the Spartan misthios Kassandra. Together they discovered that Ligeia had fallen victim to the Writhing Dread.[1]
