The Islet of Zeus was the name for the sunken sanctuary of Zeus located near the shore southwest of Kephallonia, Greece.
In 431 BCE, the misthios' Kassandra travelled to the ruins to recover a necklace that had once belonged to Prokris, the wife of Kephalos. After killing the nearby sharks surrounding the ruins, Kassandra dived underwater and recovered the necklace.[1]
