Iola was a Greek smuggler from Arcadia who operated during the Peloponnesian War.

She and her crew smuggled a bear from Arcadia to Kos for a man named Sargon. However, a storm (which she attributed to Poseidon) beached their ship, allowing the bear to escape.^[1]
