Ikaros was the bird companion of the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.^[1]

Described as an "old friend", Ikaros was somehow sent by Pythagoras to keep an eye on his daughter.

Trivia

Ikaros functions identically to Senu from Assassin's Creed: Origins.^[1]
Ikaros may be named after Icarus, who flew too close to the sun and fell to his death in Greek mythology.
According to Kyra (when identifying the Misthios), Ikaros is the "eagle of Zeus".
Ikaros unlike Senu is male, while Senu is female
