Iatrokles was the agoge master at the Agoge Camp North in the Chasms of Taygetos in Lakonia, Greece during the 5th century BCE.

Iatrokles was charged with the training of Theoros, son of Xanthe and Serios, and during the Peloponnesian War, also of Makarios. Iatrokles also trained Akamas.

Believing Theoros and Akamas to be ready to prove themselves, he sent them to the overnight camp to stay the night. While there, the boys disappeared. Iatrokles went to check on the boys, but couldn't leave his younger charges alone long enough to investigate further.[1]

When the misthios Kassandra came to the Agoge Camp North with Theoros' brother Makarios, Iatrokles challenged Kassandra to a duel.[2] After she'd proven herself, Iatrokles asked if she would look into Theoros and Akamas' disappearance. Kassandra did as asked.[1]
