Biography[edit | edit source]

Hetanu was one of the children living in rebel camp of Remetch Ra, where they received lessons from Nawa. Around 48 BCE Sebni told Hetanu and his friend Istellah stories about Alexander the Great and his temple. Children believed there is treasure to be found and managed to get inside the place. However they were soon trapped by snakes coming from the water. The girl did not want to leave her friend, but Henetu urged her to get help. Istellah used Alexander's Shield found in the temple for protection, as the staff was too heavy for them, and left the area unharmed, heading towards the rebel camp at Theos Elpis Rift. When she was missing for hours, Henetu started to get worried.[1]

At the same time, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa passed through the rebel camp, and heard about missing children. Nawa told him that her cousin, Sebni, had told the children stories about Alexander the Great, and gotten in their head the idea to go treasure hunting. Afterwards, Sebni and Khamet had headed after the children, but were caught.[1]

Bayek promised to find the rebel warriors and the children. After freeing Sebni and Khamet, Bayek found Hetanu in the ruins of Alexander's Temple, surrounded by snakes, and rescued him. Hetanu informed Bayek where Istellah went and urged him to help his friend, which he did. Afterwards Hetanu returned to Remetch Ra.[1]
