A view of the mountain

Grand Mount Parnassos, also simply Mount Parnassos, is a mountainous region of Phokis in northern Greece. The Sanctuary of Delphi was located on the slopes of the mountain, home to the Pythia.

Delved into the mountainside were also various caves, including Korykian Cave and the Cave of Kratos. During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored a number of these caves, as she traversed the mountain.[1]
