The Alekto Shipwreck

The Alekto Shipwreck was a shipwreck located southeast of the Isle of Thisvi during the 5th century BCE.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found the shipwreck and a connected cave, looting the treasures within, among them a figurehead featuring a lion for the ship Adrestia.[1]
