Eritha was the identical twin sister of Diona and a high priestess of Aphrodite who lived during the 5th century BCE on Kythera Island, Greece.

Biography

As the older twin sister of Diona, Eritha overshadowed her twin.

Sometime during the 420s BCE, Diona made the acquaintance of the Spartan misthios Kassandra. Seeing her as an opportunity, Diona manipulated Kassandra. With other obstacles out of her way, Diona set her mind to killing Eritha; Kassandra saw the twins fighting at the Altar of Aphrodite, and ultimately saw through Diona's lies and killed her, sparing Eritha.^[1]
