Erinna: Difference between revisions

Erinna was a Korinthian hetaera who worked under Anthousa during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography

During the war, she was assisted by the Spartan misthios Kassandra with Anthousa's efforts to eliminate the Monger, a thug and a member of the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cult of Kosmos.^[1]

After Erinna's friend Kleio failed to show up for morning prayer, she became worried. Erinna looked for Kleio in Bellerophron's Garden, and there she also met Kassandra after learning from one of their clients that Kleio was apparently kidnapped and brought aboard a ship by pirates. Meeting Kassandra, Erinna asked her to rescue Kleio. Once Kassandra found out what had happened to Kleio, she returned and reported to Erinna.^[2]

Trivia

In the novel, Erinna helps Kassandra and Brasidas kill the Monger in his warehouse.^[3]
