Akantha (died c. 422 BCE), also known by her cryptonym as the Deceiver, was a member of the Order of the Ancients operating in Makedonia, Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

The wife of the Magistrate of Makedonia and a member of the Order of Hunters branch, she was tasked to locate and eliminate the Persian fugitive Darius and the Tainted Ones, individuals who possessed high percentage of Isu blood in them.[1]

Around 422 BCE, she was killed by one such individual, the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
