Adrestia is the Greek goddess of revolt, the balance between good and evil, and just retribution. As the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite she often accompanies Ares during his wars.
She is the sister of Eros, Anteros, Phobos, Deimos and Harmonia.

- By the time of the Peloponnesian War, Barnabas had acquired a trireme called the Adrestia, named after the goddess.[1]
- The Greek word Ἀδρήστεια means 'inescapable' or 'she who cannot be escaped', and was also an epithet of the goddess of retribution, Nemesis.
