Inchroe

Inchroe was a bog in Meath, Ireland, north of Durrow. The bog appeared to be a bandit stronghold.

History

In the late 9th century, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir investigated Inchroe, as Flann Sinna made clear that Dublin Danes had stolen the Book of Kells from a monastery and took it to the location. From her investigation, Eivor discovered Thorstein inside one of the bandits' huts. After a brief confrontation, Thorstein admitted to selling the book to his correspondents, who were at Boyne Tombs. Angrily, Eivor told Thorstein to leave Ireland once and for all.

During her time in Ireland, Eivor investigated Inchroe in search for the deed of the trade post of Lisdurrow. She found the deed inside a chest within a hut.

From further investigation, Eivor also found and claimed the Celtic Bracers inside a different chest and collected a tungsten ingot from another chest.
