Berbha Fortification

Berbha Fortification was a large Irish fortfication built along the River Berbha in the northeastern part of the region, east of the River Front Homestead. It was protected by a significant military force.

In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.[1]
