Bordingas (died 1489) was a Spanish Inquisition sergeant serving under Tomás de Torquemada during the late 15th century.
Biography
In 1489, Bordingas was one of the many Templars involved in the trial and execution of the de Heredia family. After their death, he claimed their estate.[1]
When Horacio de Heredia, along with a group of Spanish Assassins, took back the estate, Bordingas was not present during the fight. The Assassins then tracked him down to the local slums, where he was about to strike an unknown deal with the resident slumlord, Concha. Bordingas was assassinated, along with the slumlord, before the deal could be concluded.[2]
From documents found on the sergeant's body, the Assassins discovered that he was taking orders from Fort Alphonso, an Inquisition keep.[3]
