The Zarax Point

The Zarax Point formed the easternmost region of Lakonia, Greece. The smallest region in Lakonia, it bordered only with the Helot Hills and the Aegean Sea. A natural spit, it was only home to the Fort of Praisai.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra visited the Fort of Praisai in the region, having been tasked by King Pausanias to cull rogue krypteia, one of which was stationed at the fort.[1]
