While looking dor Myrrine, Kassandra came across Anthousa, a haterae who needed help in getting rid of The Monger. He, along with the Cult's help, employed a small army and took over the land of Korinth and has ruled over it with an iron fist ever since. He would use the army of thugs he hired to mug and shake people down for their money, even going after and killing the haterae working in the streets, including Damalis and Erinna. The Monger was also known to smuggle weapons into the port of Korinth and store them in a warehouse in the Port of Lechaion where they would evntually be sold to soldiers participating in the war.
