The Hydra (died c. 420s BCE), also known as Hydra the Many-Headed was a member of and the Sage of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos.
Biography
During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra hunted down and killed The Hydra aboard his trireme, the Hyperion.[1]
Trivia
- Hydra shares his name with a mythical snake with multiple heads, which could regenerate whenever they were cut off. The beast itself was slain by Herakles as his second labor, with the aid of his nephew Iolaos, by burning the Hydra's necks, so that it could not regenerate new heads.
