Talos the Stone Fist (died 431 BCE) was a mercenary who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Biography

In 431 BCE, Talos received an invitation to the Pephka Arena. Soon afterwards, he was hired by the Cyclops of Kephallonia to hunt down the Spartan misthios Kassandra. Talos eventually engaged Kassandra in combat, and fell.[1]

Equipment and skills

Talos was considered a strong individual, being able to pound his enemies heads into the rock faces of many Kephallonian mountains. Thus, he was given the epithet "Stone Fist" and a testament to this. He wore rusted armor and wielded an ordinary sword in combat. He also had in his possession a Mercenary Breastplate, that was looted from his corpse.[2]

Trivia
