Actually not sure how we cite this; do you we go straight to the end, just Rome: Chapter 1…, or every step between?

→‎History: Not sure either. Never seen specified in pgs like Giovanni Borgia, but we currently specify for Layla's files, so...maybe? Putting Ch. 1 Rome for now

Razor used by Baltasar de Silva

The straight razor is a tool and weapon that is mainly used for its intended purposes of manual shaving.

History

In the Renaissance, the Italian Templar Baltasar de Silva served as Cesare Borgia's master spy, gathering information for the Borgia family on the Italian Assassins while working undercover as a barber. He often used the hairdresser's tool,[1] made custom by Auguste Oberlin,[2] to lethal effect as an improvised weapon.[1]

In 1852, the former soldier Simeon Price, under the alias of "Jack Straw," received a pearl-handled razor from his new employer and mentor, Oscar Kane. The razor was a gift for Price to use as a means to protect himself.[3] During a winter party at the Baron Julius Jacob von Haynau's home, Kane and the baron's lawyer Karl Mayr reconvened privately only for it to take a turn as Mayr began to strangle Kane. Price soon found and saved his mentor by ultimately using his razor to kill Mayr.[4] After finding out the Templar known as "the Magus" was his own mentor, Price carried his razor in every confrontation against Kane.[5][6]
