The Sacred Cave was an underground cavern located by the Temple of Apollo within the city of Korinth, in Korinthia, Greece.
The Cave was a place of worship, and housed a statue of the Greek god Ares. The Cave was also occupied by The Monger's men.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within.[2]
Trivia
- The Sacred Cave is one of the two places where Kassandra may kill the Monger of the Peloponnesian League. Killing him there, out of the public view, will have an effect on people.
