Photios was a Kephallonian mercenary and a friend of the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Around 431 BCE, Photios was reunited with Kassandra in the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, enlisting her help to deal with a group of priests who had stolen various artifacts.^[1]
