Phidias (c. 480 – c. 430 BCE) was a Greek sculptor, painter and architect who lived during the 5th century BCE. He was known for creating the Statue of Zeus in Olympia, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
In 431 BCE, he was assisted by Kassandra to escape to the island of Seriphos when he was targeted by the Cult of Kosmos. Later, he was found living in Olympia, Elis. The Cult later tracked him down again and had him killed.
