Kassandra/Alexios would play a part in the way by siding with either leagues and could support them in batttle and help them gain territory. Though as stated this would not change the outcome of the conflict historically. 




 
Historically the war would carry on for several years with the Delian League successfully besting Sparta for a few years before Sparta would gain the upper hand in the second part/later years of the war. The war would result in Athens power being reduced from what it once was, and Sparta supremacy over Greece for a time before the rise of Alexander the Great who would quickly conquer Greece due to Sparta being a shadow of its former self
