Mesoa was a small village located southwest of the city-state of Sparta in Lakonia, Peloponnese, Greece. In ancient times, it was one of the villages that formed the poleis, alongside Pitana, Limnai and Kynosoura.

During the Peloponnesian War, the village was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
