Iokaste the Seer (died 420s BCE) was a member of the Cult of Kosmos, operating as the Sage of the Worshippers of the Bloodline branch in Chios, Greece, during the Peloponnesian War.
Biography
Also known as The God's Breath and The Mystic Sage, Iokaste controlled the Oracle of Delphi and several religious rites to honor the Cult of Kosmos. She instructed the priestess of Hera,a fellow cultist named Chrysis to abduct the Spartan misthios Kassandra's brother Alexios to eventually be raised as Deimos. Iokaste and her followers became obsessed with Deimos' bloodline.
After knowing how Melite slaughtered worshippers in a temple in Greece, Iokaste began to see herself in him and informed Melite that he may one day take her place in the cult. With his sacrifice complete, she ordered him to meet her in Chios to finish the ritual.
Sometime during the 420s BCE, Iokaste operated in Anavatos Ruin where she was killed by Kassandra, who recovered an Artifact Fragment and clues regarding the cult from her body.
