Euripides (c. 480 BCE – c. 406 BCE) was an ancient Greek tragedian who lived during the 5th century BCE.

Biography

In 431 BCE, Euripides attented a symposium organized by the Athenian statesman Perikles alongside several notable individuals such as fellow tragedian Sophokles and playwright Aristophanes. There, he made the acquaintance of the misthios Kassandra.[1]
