Eresos is a town situated on the Greek island of Lesbos, which was a polis during the classical period. It was known to be the birthplace of the poet, Sappho.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Misthios, Kassandra, visited the city, where she assisted a local resident Bryce with locating her friend Ligeia, who was a member of the Daughters of Artemis.[1]
