Character Description

Epiktetos the Forthcoming's ship building taught him one lesson, if no other: waging a war is always more profitable than winning one. He stood to make a fortune from the tragedies of war...until Deimos made a bloody, horrifying example out of him at the Cult's mysterious gathering.

Biography

Formerly a shipbuilder[1], Epiktetos was present in a cult meeting in 431 BCE, where a fellow member, Elpenor, was discovered dead with a traitor amongst their ranks. Deimos demanded the members to touch an artifact in the cave which let him look into their memories.[2]

Epiktetos was later singled out as the traitor by Deimos, who had earlier spared his sister and Elpenor's killer, Kassandra, and was beaten to death by Deimos.[2]
