Damalis was a Korinthian hetaera who worked under Anthousa during the Peloponnesian War.

When the Spartan misthios Kassandra came to Korinth looking for her mother Myrrine, Anthousa promised her help if Kassandra in turn helped the hetaerae.[1]

Damalis asked Kassandra to look into why the behavior of a regular client of hers had changed, scaring and worrying her. Kassandra did as asked, and with the help of Phoibe, she learned that The Monger had threatened the client unless he did as told to. The last instructions the Monger had sent the man were to bring Damalis to a house in Korinth.[2]

As Kassandra investigated the place, she learned that the place was used by the Monger to entertain himself, and the caretaker of the place told her that "any victim (the Monger) likes gets his special treatment." After that, Kassandra killed the caretaker and returned to Damalis and Phoibe, waiting at a fountain nearby.[2]
