Entrance to the tomb

Agamemnon's Tomb was the tomb of the mythical King Agamemnon located southwest of the ancient city of Mycenae within the Palace of Agamemnon region in Argolis, Greece.

The tomb was connected to the city ruins via an underground passage and was explored by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War. While exploring the tomb, Kassandra looted the King's valuables and deciphered an ancient stele.[1]
