Adonis is an Isu. In Greek mythology he was a mortal lover of the goddess Aphrodite, who had him deified after his death.
History
Residing in Elysium, Adonis became the leader of a rebellion against the ruler of the realm, Persephone.[1]
One of the forts within Elysium was named Adonis.[1]
Mythology
Jealous over Aphrodite, the god Ares killed Adonis. For this, Ares was imprisoned in a bronze jar by the giant sons of the god Poseidon, the Aloadai Otos and Ephialtes, for thirteen months.[2]
