A bounty is a a payment offered for the apprehension or killing of a wanted individual. During the Peloponnesian War, mercenaries found and accepted these bounties from message boards across Greece. An example would be Kassandra the Eagle Bearer, who accepted bounties to build up her reputation when they aligned with her own goals.[1]
