- "Of those who see the Black Wind's sails, few survive. Fewer still are ready to embark on the Aegean for fear of crossing its course again. End that pirate ship's reign of terror at all costs."
- ―Description of the ship on the message board[src]

The Black Wind was a legendary pirate trireme sailing the Aegean Sea during the 5th century BCE.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Adrestia commanded by the Spartan misthios Kassandra and captained by Barnabas, engaged the Black Wind and her companions in battle, and sank it. Kassandra then claimed the ship's sail and finery for her own.[1]
