Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy is a cancelled game, formerly in development by Ubisoft, for the Nintendo 3DS.[1]

Sections of the game's plot and premise later became the foundation for Assassin's Creed: Revelations,[2] with one of the game's main story missions even being called "Lost Legacy", where Altaïr's last moments are shown.[3]

Plot[edit | edit source]

The story would find Ezio Auditore da Firenze traveling east to the Assassins' former stronghold in Masyaf, where he would have discovered the origins of the Assassin Order; with possible connections to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's story from the first Assassin's Creed.[1]

At some point, Ezio would also have traveled to Constantinople, although earlier than he ultimately does in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.[4]
